To support continued business growth and brand expansion, they are looking for an experienced Marketing Director to lead the overall marketing strategy, brand development, consumer engagement, and commercial growth agenda.

Key responsibilities:

As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for driving the overall marketing vision and brand strategy across multiple product categories. You will work closely with senior leadership, sales, trade marketing, regional teams, and external partners to strengthen brand equity and deliver sustainable business growth.

  • Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy for the company’s FMCG brand portfolio
  • Drive brand positioning, consumer insights, product innovation, communication strategy, and go-to-market planning
  • Lead annual brand planning, marketing budget management, and category growth strategy
  • Build strong consumer understanding through market research, shopper insights, competitor analysis, and data-driven decision making
  • Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, social media, CRM, e-commerce, and retail channels
  • Partner closely with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to ensure effective commercial execution and channel activation
  • Lead new product development, product launches, packaging strategy, pricing input, and portfolio optimisation
  • Work with regional or global marketing teams to localise brand strategy and ensure relevance to the local market
  • Manage creative, media, PR, digital, research, and activation agencies to deliver high-quality campaigns
  • Track brand performance, market share, sales performance, ROI, and campaign effectiveness
  • Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team, building strong capabilities in brand management, innovation, digital marketing, and commercial marketing
  • Act as a senior business partner to the General Manager and leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields
  • Minimum 12–15 years of marketing experience, preferably within FMCG, consumer goods, food & beverage, personal care, beauty, nutrition, retail, or related industries
  • Proven track record in brand management, portfolio strategy, product innovation, and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Strong experience in local market activation, consumer insight, and commercial execution
  • Experience managing sizable marketing budgets and delivering measurable business impact
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing channels, including digital, social, e-commerce, CRM, and retail media
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial sense and hands-on execution capability
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to build, coach, and motivate a high-performing marketing team
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with regional/global teams and cross-functional partners
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in both multinational FMCG companies and local market execution would be highly preferred
  • Experience managing mature brands as well as launching new products or new categories
  • Strong ability to translate consumer insights into brand growth, innovation, and commercial opportunities
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation is a plus
