A leading retail brand is seeking a Visual Merchandising and Trade Marketing Specialist to elevate in-store brand storytelling through impactful retail environments.
You will translate global visual standards into locally relevant executions across stores, pop-ups, and wholesale channels in Taiwan. Key responsibilities:
As a Visual Merchandising and Trade Marketing Specialist in sportswear, your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around transforming retail spaces into engaging environments that tell compelling brand stories.
- Execute and adapt global visual merchandising standards across all retail channels, ensuring impactful seasonal launches and consistent brand storytelling
- Develop and implement retail marketing initiatives, overseeing POSM, window displays, and in-store communication materials for multiple brands
- Enhance the in-store customer journey by optimising product placement, shelf productivity, and merchandising strategies through data-driven insights
- Lead end-to-end execution of key retail projects, including pop-ups and brand activations, while managing vendors, timelines, and budgets
- Deliver visual merchandising training and guidance to store teams and wholesale partners to uphold premium presentation standards
- Plan and execute retail promotions and marketing events with department stores to drive customer engagement and commercial performance
Candidate profile:
Your background as a Visual Merchandising and Trade Marketing Specialist equips you with deep expertise in creating visually compelling retail environments that drive consumer engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Arts, or a related discipline, with 3–5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, Trade Marketing, or Retail Marketing within sportswear, outdoor, fashion, or footwear sectors
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools, with a keen eye for visual presentation, spatial planning, and retail aesthetics
- Fluent in Mandarin with strong English communication skills, including the ability to interpret global VM guidelines and collaborate with regional teams
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the confidence to challenge existing practices and drive continuous improvement
- Creative yet commercially minded, balancing innovation with practicality to deliver impactful business results
