Validation Manager (ME+EE)

A leading multinational manufacturing firm seeks a Validation Manager (ME+EE) in Taiwan to lead product testing and validation, supporting innovative data centre infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

As a Validation Manager, you will lead product verification and validation activities, ensuring product quality, reliability, compliance, and effective issue resolution.

• Lead and report product verification and testing for connector/harness assemblies and electromechanical products
• Develop validation plans covering protocol compliance, interoperability, performance, stress, and regression testing
• Partner with design engineers to conduct mechanical reliability tests, including temperature, vibration, cable pull, and bend testing
• Perform electrical assessments covering signal integrity, continuity, impedance, and contact resistance
• Manage laboratory logistics, testing materials, external test houses, vendors, and fixture procurement to support validation activities
• Diagnose defects and technical issues, identify root causes, uphold manufacturing and fixturing standards, and drive corrective or preventive actions

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with relevant technical knowledge
• Approximately five years’ experience in product verification testing and performance testing
• Hands-on experience with durability and reliability testing of electromechanical products in demanding environments
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and functional test methods, processes, and validation procedures
• Basic data analysis skills, including sample size calculations for performance testing and results interpretation
• Experience with validation requirements, testing equipment installation and commissioning, supplier liaison, fixture procurement, and root-cause analysis of testing issues
