Quality Manager

A leading manufacturing organisation seeks a Quality Manager in Taiwan to lead quality assurance transformation and ensure locally sourced products meet global quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Quality Control team while driving workforce planning, performance, and continuous capability improvement
• Oversee end-to-end quality inspection operations, ensuring Taiwan-sourced products meet North American regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards
• Optimise inspection processes, strengthen quality systems, and drive continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency across the Taiwan supply base
• Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams across sourcing, quality, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and ensure timely, compliant product delivery
• Own quality reporting, non-conformance investigations, corrective actions, and stakeholder communication to safeguard product integrity and support business objectives

Candidate profile:

• 15+ years’ Quality Assurance or Engineering experience with strong expertise in metal products, manufacturing, and quality management
• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Mechanical or Materials Engineering, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• At least 8 years’ people management experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with suppliers, QA/QC, sourcing, and global stakeholders
• Strong technical knowledge of root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and international standards including ASTM, ANSI, and UL, with fluent English communication skills
• Proactive, accountable, and highly organised, with excellent multitasking abilities and willingness to travel frequently within Taiwan
