【Energy】Technical Program Manager

A leading energy storage manufacturer seeks a Technical Program Manager in Taiwan to drive global manufacturing programmes and strengthen scalable battery infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own integrated programme plans across engineering, equipment sourcing, supplier qualification, validation, logistics, and manufacturing readiness
  • Define milestones, deliverables, dependencies, decision points, and acceptance criteria to align stakeholders across concurrent workstreams
  • Lead supplier selection, design reviews, validation, delivery, installation, commissioning, and production-readiness activities to keep programmes on track
  • Manage schedules, risks, changes, actions, decisions, costs, resources, and executive reporting while driving mitigation and recovery plans
  • Drive supplier accountability and issue resolution, coordinating Asia-based suppliers, equipment manufacturers, consultants, labs, and manufacturing partners
  • Bridge Taiwan and U.S. teams by developing programme-management tools, dashboards, and planning processes that strengthen global coordination and execution

Candidate profile:

  • 7+ years’ experience managing technical programmes in engineering or manufacturing, with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Proven track record delivering complex cross-functional projects, equipment deployments, and production launches with international suppliers
  • Strong expertise in programme scheduling, milestone and dependency tracking, risk management, change control, and action closure
  • Experience with Asia-based suppliers and U.S. engineering/manufacturing teams; battery manufacturing and high-volume production exposure preferred
  • Skilled in technical documentation, stakeholder facilitation, executive reporting, and project platforms such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or Monday.com
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English; experience with FAT, SAT, validation, APQP, PPAP, and manufacturing readiness preferred; PMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma is an asset; willing to travel
