An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join a leading international organisation in Taipei, Taiwan.

This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about environmental protection, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance, with the opportunity to lead comprehensive EHS initiatives that exceed legal and organisational standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental protection and workplace safety programmes that align with legal requirements and organisational standards
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and onsite inspections to identify hazards, monitor compliance, and enforce corrective actions when necessary
  • Deliver EHS training sessions and presentations for employees and subcontractors to strengthen employee competency and promote safe work practices
  • Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and manage follow-up actions including workers’ compensation processes where applicable
  • Maintain accurate record keeping for training activities, inspections, incident reports, and other EHS-related documentation to support continuous improvement

Candidate profile:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in environmental health and safety management or a related field within industrial or engineering settings
  • University degree or above, with excellent English communication skills across listening, speaking, reading, and writing
  • Proven ability to develop EHS policies, procedures, standards, and preventive measures tailored to diverse operational environments
  • Strong experience conducting safety audits, workplace risk assessments, hazardous equipment inspections, and waste management compliance checks
  • Demonstrated capability in training delivery, employee competency verification, regulatory reporting, and maintaining comprehensive EHS records
