Engineering Project Assistant Manager (台南)

An FMCG organisation in Taiwan seeks an Engineering Project Assistant Manager to support operational excellence, safety, sustainability, and innovation.

Key responsibilities:

As an Engineering Project Assistant Manager, you will manage capital projects, improve safety and compliance, and drive efficiency in manufacturing operations.

• Manage CapEx PO processing and maintenance scorecard data collection
• Lead CapEx proposal planning and submission, including design, vendor sourcing, and cross-functional project coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery
• Drive safety initiatives, including machine and equipment safety (MESS) implementation and fire mitigation (FM) improvements across production lines and facilities
• Implement performance improvement projects focused on energy (gas, electricity) and water usage optimisation
• Provide technical support for maintenance, equipment installation, spare parts management (including foreign equipment commissioning) and act as control owner for P2P and FA processes ensuring compliance with key controls

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring engineering or maintenance experience, a relevant engineering degree, AutoCAD/PLC skills, and experience in project delivery, safety, and teamwork.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering management and/or maintenance
• Proven experience in project implementation and execution
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, mechanical drawing, and PLC programming
• Proficient in Chinese, Taiwanese, and English communication
• Energy Manager certification is an advantage
