A global organisation seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Head to lead EHS compliance and safety standards for sustainable engineering operations in Taiwan.

Key responsibilities:

As the Environmental Health and Safety Head, you will lead EHS strategy, drive safety compliance, manage risks, and promote sustainable practices across engineering projects.

  • Develop and implement EHS frameworks, training, monitoring systems, and emergency response plans to uphold high safety and environmental standards
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local EHS regulations across all operations and project
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Monitor onsite EHS conditions, perform inspections, and drive corrective actions for employees and contractors
  • Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and implement preventive and corrective measures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate contractor performance to strengthen overall EHS effectiveness

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring EHS leadership experience, strong risk and compliance expertise, and bilingual communication skills in regulated engineering environments.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience driving and implementing EHS systems within complex environments
  • Proven track record in managing safety across electrification engineering projects
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in both English and Mandarin
  • Professional qualifications or certifications in occupational safety and health management
  • Passion for fostering safe, compliant, and sustainable workplaces
