What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture by thoroughly understanding the organisation’s IT landscape and identifying areas for improvement across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile environments.
• Lead the design and implementation of robust security solutions for enterprise IT systems, collaborating closely with application and infrastructure owners to define integration initiatives.
• Document security frameworks and establish best practices that enhance the overall security posture of all externally and internally facing applications.
• Provide guidance to developers, engineers, and analysts on architectural improvements, supporting them in adopting secure coding standards and operational procedures.
• Apply risk-based thinking to enable teams to make informed decisions regarding prioritisation of security enhancements across multiple platforms.
• Manage identity and access management (IAM) technologies including single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, user lifecycle management, and role-based access control strategies.
• Conduct regular access reviews and certification campaigns to ensure compliance with least-privilege principles throughout the organisation.
• Implement privileged access management (PAM) solutions for administrative accounts, ensuring secure handling of sensitive credentials.
• Deploy endpoint security tooling such as mobile device management (MDM) platforms and endpoint detection/response capabilities to protect productivity suites from data loss or unauthorised access.
• Secure cloud infrastructure services by enforcing IAM policies, managing VPCs/network controls, implementing logging/monitoring tools like CloudTrail or GuardDuty, and supporting encryption key management.

What you bring:

• Over five years’ proven experience in enterprise security roles focused on infrastructure or endpoint protection within large-scale organisations.
• At least three years’ hands-on experience securing AWS/cloud environments using industry-standard tools for policy enforcement, monitoring/logging (CloudTrail/GuardDuty), network controls (VPCs/security groups), workload protection, encryption key management, and configuration baselines.
• Demonstrated ability to architect enterprise applications—including development/support/troubleshooting—with deep familiarity across Windows/macOS/Linux system administration and hardening techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of identity/access management technologies such as SAML/OIDC integrations; practical experience administering IAM platforms for single sign-on/multi-factor authentication/user lifecycle management.
• Experience deploying privileged access management (PAM) solutions for administrative/service accounts within complex environments.
• Proficiency with mobile device management (MDM) platforms for endpoint protection; skilled at configuring productivity suite security features including data loss prevention/access controls/email policies.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace administration/security features; able to integrate these into broader enterprise frameworks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams; responsive communication style that supports communal problem-solving.
• Commitment to continuous learning demonstrated by relevant certifications (CISSP/CEH/AWS Certified Security Specialty or equivalent) or participation in training programmes.
• Nice-to-have: scripting/automation proficiency (Bash/PowerShell/Python); experience with Identity Governance Administration (IGA) platforms; knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles; SCIM provisioning/automation; conditional access/risk-based authentication; exposure to web3/blockchain technologies.
