What you'll do:
- Oversee comprehensive personal information inventory reviews and conduct detailed risk assessments to ensure all data handling processes meet stringent security standards.
- Review contract clauses related to personal data protection, collaborating closely with legal teams to safeguard user privacy across all agreements.
- Maintain and update internal policies governing information security management procedures as well as personal information security maintenance plans, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory changes.
- Design and deliver onsite training sessions focused on information security awareness and personal data protection for staff at all levels.
- Develop, implement, and maintain privacy policies for both users and merchant partners, ensuring transparency and compliance with local laws.
- Coordinate the certification process for mobile application security standards (MAS), working cross-functionally to achieve required accreditations.
- Plan and execute phishing drills to raise organisational awareness of social engineering threats while evaluating response effectiveness.
- Provide expert security consulting services tailored to various business scenarios, supporting different departments with practical advice on risk mitigation.
- Perform hands-on routine security operations such as software installation reviews, user access audits, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing issue tracking, and more.
- Lead the coordination of incident response activities for information security events—including phishing cases—ensuring swift resolution and thorough documentation.
- Work collaboratively with IT, business development teams, and external partners to ensure full compliance with new regulatory requirements affecting the organisation’s operations.
- Conduct third-party risk assessments to evaluate vendor compliance with internal security standards and external regulations.
What you bring:
- At least five years of experience in information security roles encompassing project management responsibilities within complex environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end security projects from planning through execution while balancing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills that enable you to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments as well as external stakeholders.
- Basic proficiency in English covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing—sufficient for clear documentation and cross-border communication needs.
- Proven track record in developing or maintaining internal policies related to information security management systems (ISMS) or personal information management systems (PIMS).
- Experience conducting risk assessments for both internal processes and third-party vendors using industry-standard frameworks or methodologies.
- Familiarity with reviewing legal contracts specifically focusing on personal data protection clauses within commercial agreements.
- Hands-on expertise performing routine operational tasks such as software installation audits, user access reviews, vulnerability assessments (VA), penetration testing (PT) issue tracking, etc.
- Ability to design effective training programmes aimed at raising awareness about information security risks among non-technical audiences.
