What you'll do:

* Lead and manage complex digital transformation projects such as IoT automation, data platforms, analytics, and machine learning/AI delivery from initial planning through launch and ongoing optimisation.
* Collaborate with business units and plant leaders to identify operational pain points, prioritise improvement opportunities, define strategic roadmaps, and establish clear KPIs for success.
* Conduct thorough process analysis and design future-state workflows; evaluate, implement, and oversee digital solutions throughout their lifecycle to ensure maximum value.
* Assess potential solutions by partnering with IT/OT teams or engaging external vendors; ensure technical feasibility, information security compliance, and scalability of all implementations.
* Coordinate project activities across plants, headquarters, and overseas sites; establish governance routines for reliable progress tracking and transparent communication.
* Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants by defining scope of work, monitoring quality standards, managing timelines, and setting acceptance criteria for deliverables.
* Facilitate cross-functional communication between stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment on requirements and project objectives.
* Present project proposals and updates clearly to senior leadership teams using standard tools for schedule management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
* Champion collaborative approaches that foster knowledge sharing among internal teams while supporting global collaboration efforts.
* Monitor performance metrics post-implementation to track results against KPIs and recommend further improvements where necessary.

What you bring:

* Over five years of proven experience in project or programme management within digitalisation or automation initiatives in manufacturing environments.
* Demonstrated ability to lead IoT/automation programmes or plant operations improvement projects using digital tools in engineering or industrial settings.
* Experience planning internal products or data platforms with a user- and value-driven approach that delivers measurable outcomes.
* Ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions—including process design, delivery plans, resource allocation—and track results against defined KPIs.
* Understanding of automation device communication protocols or hardware integration planning; skilled at feasibility analysis and vendor collaboration (preferred).
* Knowledge of manufacturing digitalisation fundamentals such as IoT integration strategies or data architecture design (preferred).
* Experience delivering data platforms or ML/AI projects from concept through measurement of results (preferred).
* Strong proposal writing skills coupled with effective project/programme management abilities using standard scheduling tools.
* Excellent cross-functional communication skills for requirements analysis; able to present ideas clearly to senior leadership teams.
* Solid spoken and written English proficiency for collaboration with global teams.
