What you'll do:

* Orchestrate complex IT programmes by aligning resources, clarifying ownership structures, and breaking down strategic roadmaps into actionable milestones to ensure continuous progress across all initiatives.
* Standardise documentation processes by developing templates, maintaining decision logs, implementing version control, and overseeing change management protocols for consistent knowledge sharing.
* Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, trading teams, and compliance experts to co-create detailed specifications, product requirement documents (PRDs), acceptance criteria, and success metrics tailored to each project.
* Oversee the entire project lifecycle from intake through planning, build phases, quality assurance (QA), user acceptance testing (UAT), launch activities, and final handover while meticulously tracking schedules, quality benchmarks, and risk factors.
* Partner with engineering and validation teams to guarantee system correctness, optimal performance levels, operational readiness, and develop contingency plans for potential challenges.
* Lead new system rollouts by managing launch activities as well as incident response processes including root cause analysis (RCA), driving continuous improvement efforts based on post-mortem findings.
* Manage vendor relationships by defining service level agreements (SLAs), establishing robust delivery frameworks, monitoring change requests, and ensuring timely support alongside cost-effectiveness.
* Utilise dashboards and regular cadence reports to provide leadership with clear visibility into project milestones, risk posture assessments, and overall business impact for informed decision-making.

What you bring:

* A minimum of 3–7 years’ experience in IT project or product management roles with proven hands-on delivery across multiple cross-functional projects within technology-driven environments.
* Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban; demonstrated expertise in sprint planning sessions, backlog prioritisation techniques, and burn-down chart tracking for iterative progress measurement.
* Advanced mastery of project management tooling including Jira or Asana as well as comprehensive understanding of requirements gathering workflows (PRDs), user story creation processes, and UAT procedures.
* Exceptional stakeholder management abilities coupled with strong communication skills; adept at expectation alignment exercises, effective change control implementation strategies, and conflict resolution within multi-disciplinary teams.
* Demonstrated systems thinking approach combined with data literacy; capable of measuring delivery health using relevant metrics such as DORA or KPIs for continuous improvement insights.
* Experience working within trading environments or familiarity with broker/exchange workflows or low-latency systems would be considered advantageous but not essential for success in this role.
* Professional certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master (PSM/PSPO or equivalent) are highly regarded as they reflect commitment to best practices in project management disciplines.
* Advanced proficiency in SQL/Python/Excel for validation tasks as well as reporting automation purposes is desirable for streamlining operational efficiency.
* Working-level English language skills are required for effective collaboration with overseas teams and external vendors.
