What you'll do:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Corporate IT function in Taiwan, ensuring all systems run smoothly and efficiently for end users.
- Supervise and mentor the IT team by assigning tasks, tracking progress, providing guidance, and ensuring timely resolution of support requests.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues related to desktop support, endpoint management, network connectivity, access management, applications, and infrastructure.
- Coordinate infrastructure operations such as network connectivity, firewall management (including FortiGate), Wi-Fi configuration, VPN setup, server/file sharing administration, backup processes, and disaster recovery planning.
- Standardise and enhance processes for employee onboarding/offboarding procedures, asset management practices, device provisioning, software installation workflows, and access request fulfilment.
- Provide expert support for LarkSuite as a core platform by managing user administration tasks, permission settings, collaboration tools usage, and regional onboarding activities.
- Assist with Google Workspace administration when required by handling account permissions adjustments, collaboration settings updates, and basic governance responsibilities.
- Deliver strong operational support for network security by reviewing firewall policies regularly, coordinating VPNs/WAN/Internet connections troubleshooting issues promptly with vendors when necessary.
- Gradually implement improved endpoint security controls including patch management routines, approved software governance frameworks, local administrator privilege restrictions, and device security baseline enforcement.
- Maintain comprehensive IT documentation covering network diagrams creation/updating; support SOPs development; asset inventory tracking; access list maintenance; vendor contact records; disaster recovery documentation upkeep.
What you bring:
- A minimum of 6–8 years’ hands-on experience in IT operations encompassing infrastructure support roles such as desktop support technician or system administrator within medium-to-large organisations.
- At least 2–3 years’ proven track record in team supervision or leadership positions involving escalation management responsibilities or project coordination duties within regional/multi-site environments.
- Demonstrated capability supporting multi-country users including remote office setups or shared service models which require excellent communication skills across diverse teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of network infrastructure components such as firewalls (especially FortiGate), VPNs/WANs/Internet connectivity troubleshooting methods coupled with vendor engagement experience for issue resolution.
- Proficiency administering collaboration platforms like LarkSuite—covering user administration tasks; permission management protocols; tool adoption strategies—and familiarity with Google Workspace account governance best practices.
- Experience standardising operational processes related to employee lifecycle events (onboarding/offboarding), asset management systems deployment/maintenance routines; device setup/configuration procedures; software installation workflows; access request fulfilment mechanisms.
- Solid background implementing endpoint security measures including patch management schedules; approved software governance policies; local administrator privilege control techniques; device security baseline establishment/enforcement activities.
- Strong documentation skills evidenced by maintaining up-to-date network diagrams creation/updating abilities; developing clear support SOPs/manuals; tracking asset inventories accurately; keeping access lists current; recording vendor contacts comprehensively; preparing disaster recovery plans/documentation effectively.
- Ability to coordinate cost analysis exercises for technology investments while supporting audit readiness initiatives aligned with corporate IT policy requirements.
