What you'll do:
- Take overall responsibility for IT infrastructure and End-User Computing (EUC) operations within the local environment, ensuring dependable service delivery.
- Apply hands-on technical expertise to maintain stable, secure, and efficient IT services for all users.
- Implement and enforce global IT standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent practices across the organisation.
- Coordinate closely with global tower leads in Network, EUC, Server & Storage, and Security domains to foster strong alignment and effective execution of initiatives.
- Monitor service performance through operational governance activities such as KPI reporting and continuous service improvement measures.
- Participate in budget planning, cost control, and contribute to investment decisions as well as lifecycle planning for infrastructure and EUC services.
- Act as the primary escalation point for infrastructure- and EUC-related incidents, risks, and compliance matters within the organisation.
- Support transformation initiatives including standardisation, automation, and modernisation of infrastructure services to drive efficiency.
- Engage in regular communication with stakeholders at all levels to ensure clear understanding of operational priorities.
- Contribute actively to incident handling processes while promoting best practices in IT service management.
What you bring:
- A bachelor’s degree or above in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field—or equivalent practical experience—is required for this role.
- You bring over six years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure & Operations or End-User Computing (EUC), ideally gained within a global enterprise setting.
- Your expertise includes endpoint management, security controls, and Microsoft-based enterprise environments such as Intune, SCCM, Microsoft 365, and identity services.
- You possess solid troubleshooting capabilities across both EUC and infrastructure domains including networking fundamentals as well as end-user productivity services.
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell enables you to automate tasks efficiently for improved operational outcomes.
- A thorough understanding of IT service management practices—including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management—and experience working within SLA-driven environments is essential.
- You have demonstrated ability to work effectively in global settings by acting as a key coordination point with strong communication skills.
