A publicly listed electronics manufacturer seeks an HR Director in Taiwan to lead HR strategy and a 10+ person team, driving talent, operations, and people initiatives aligned with business growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead daily HR operations and mentor a 10+ member team, strengthening capability, service quality, and operational effectiveness
  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and programmes aligned with evolving business needs and strategic objectives
  • Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning and organisational development to optimise staffing, structure, and business performance
  • Ensure compliance with Taiwan labour laws and internal policies through regular reviews, updates, and risk mitigation
  • Oversee talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, and inclusive workplace initiatives to drive engagement and retention
  • Champion employee relations and continuous improvement by resolving concerns, developing HR talent, and enhancing operational efficiency

Candidate profile:

  • 10+ years’ progressive HR Business Partner or HR management experience, with proven leadership of HR teams
  • Strong expertise across talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, performance management, talent development, and employee relations
  • In-depth knowledge of Taiwan labour regulations with hands-on corporate HR compliance experience
  • Proven leadership in coaching, mentoring, empowering teams, and driving shared goals in complex organisations
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, interpersonal, and inclusivity skills across all organisational levels
  • Manufacturing or electronics industry experience highly desirable; business-level English and commitment to continuous development preferred
