A leading organisation seeks an experienced Compensation and Benefits Manager in Taiwan to lead a team of four professionals, drive strategic HR initiatives, and deliver operational excellence across key HR functions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end payroll, compensation, and benefits operations across multiple business units, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organisational objectives
  • Develop and implement market-driven compensation and performance management strategies, including digital transformation of appraisal systems and performance frameworks
  • Oversee performance reviews, promotions, employee assessments, and wellness initiatives, including annual health checks and Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP), to enhance engagement and development
  • Manage employee relations and labour compliance by resolving workplace issues, ensuring adherence to local employment laws, and promoting a positive employee experience
  • Partner with business leaders and external vendors to deliver integrated HR solutions, strengthen payroll and performance systems, and drive continuous process improvement

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with proven experience in compensation and benefits strategy within large organisations or publicly listed companies
  • Strong expertise in compensation design, payroll management, performance management systems, and HR platforms, with knowledge of the 104 system considered an advantage
  • Solid understanding of labour laws, regulatory compliance, and employee relations, including experience handling labour disputes in complex corporate environments
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to balance long-term HR planning, operational execution, and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills, with a service-oriented approach to driving employee engagement and organisational growth
