A well-established organisation in Taiwan seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead employee relations, ensure labour law compliance, and support a fair, collaborative workplace.

Key responsibilities:

As a HR Manager, you will handle employee relations, ensure compliance, advise managers, and support HR policy and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Employee Relations and Case Management: Manage grievances and high-risk investigations, ensure fair handling and documentation, provide labour risk advice, and partner with legal on key cases
  • Labour Law Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure Taiwan labour law compliance, lead labour-management meetings, update policies, support audits, inspections, and dispute resolution
  • Manager Support and Training: Coach managers on ER, compliance, disciplinary actions, documentation, difficult conversations, and harassment prevention
  • Team Management and Process Improvement: Lead ER team operations, allocate work, develop talent, set standards, improve processes, and drive governance enhancements

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong Taiwan labour law knowledge, ER case experience, stakeholder skills, analytical ability, and a fair, calm, and adaptable approach.

  • Experience in labour-intensive industries (e.g., F&B, retail, logistics, manufacturing, frontline operations)
  • Experience with labour inspections, disputes, and liaison with regulatory authorities
  • Involvement in work rules revision or HR governance framework development
  • Understanding of cross-regional or multi-site operational environments
  • Excellent skills in conducting interviews, investigations, analysis, and report writing
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a mandatory requirement
