A leading international organisation is seeking a Head of Human Resources to drive strategic people initiatives.

This role will partner closely with senior leadership to lead organisational development, talent management, employee engagement, and HR operations in a dynamic multicultural environment. The position offers regional exposure, flexible working opportunities, and the chance to shape high-performing teams that support long-term business growth.

Key responsibilities:

Lead strategic HR initiatives across multiple markets, partnering with leadership teams to strengthen organisational capability, employee engagement, and workforce performance.

  • Serve as the primary HR partner to global, regional, and local leadership teams, delivering strategic support on organisational design, talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning
  • Lead organisational development and change initiatives, including implementation of new HR structures, streamlined processes, and agile operating models aligned with evolving business needs
  • Develop and execute cohesive people strategies that support business objectives while ensuring effective utilisation of HR tools, policies, and best practices
  • Partner with business and finance leaders on budgeting, headcount forecasting, compensation and benefits planning, and overall workforce strategy
  • Oversee key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee development initiatives
  • Coach and advise leaders on leadership effectiveness, employee communication, performance management, and fostering a culture of continuous growth and engagement
  • Drive strategic HR projects, support international assignments, contribute to HR process improvement initiatives, and facilitate implementation of global HR policies and learning programmes
  • Ensure compliance with company values, code of conduct, data privacy regulations, and HR governance standards across all areas of responsibility

Candidate profile:

An experienced HR leader with strong regional exposure, capable of driving both strategic and operational HR excellence within complex, multicultural business environments.

  • Extensive generalist HR experience across diverse industries, markets, and cultures, including regional and headquarters-level HR operations
  • Proven track record leading organisational change, transformation initiatives, and large-scale strategic and operational HR projects
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline; CIPD certification is advantageous
  • Strong expertise in workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management with strong technical knowledge across core HR functions and processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, conflict resolution, influencing, and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across all organisational levels
  • Proactive, hands-on, and business-oriented professional with strong intercultural awareness, ability to work independently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt within dynamic environments
  • High fluency in English and Mandarin
