An F&B organisation seeks a Head of HR in Taiwan to drive people strategy, lead HR transformation, and build a high performing, engaged workforce supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities:

As HR Department Head, you will lead HR strategy, optimise systems for compliance, and drive organisational effectiveness, employee engagement, and culture to support business growth.

Human Resources Strategy Planning

  • Develop and implement human resources strategies aligned with the company's development needs, including talent acquisition, development, retention, and incentive mechanisms
  • Analyse market trends and internal data to provide decision-making support and assist senior management in formulating long-term human resources plans

Organisational Development & Performance Management

  • Drive organisational structure optimisation to ensure that the design aligns with business needs
  • Establish and implement a performance management system, assisting departments in setting goals, tracking progress, and improving team effectiveness
  • Plan employee training and development programs to strengthen core competencies and leadership skills

Compensation, Benefits, & Policy Management

  • Plan and continuously optimise compensation and benefits policies to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Oversee payroll calculations, bonus distribution, and related report analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Regularly review and update HR-related policies and processes to enhance operational efficiency

Employee Relations & Culture Building

  • Establish effective communication channels to promote employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Assist in handling labour law-related matters and labour relations issues to maintain harmonious labour-management relationships
  • Promote corporate culture initiatives to enhance employee recognition and sense of belonging

Talent Recruitment & Retention

  • Develop annual recruitment plans to ensure a steady supply of talent for key positions
  • Participate in senior-level talent selection and interviews, providing professional recommendations
  • Design employee retention strategies, including career development planning and promotion mechanisms

Data Analysis & Budget Management

  • Analyse HR-related data (e.g., turnover rates, personnel costs) to provide insights for decision-making
  • Prepare the annual HR budget, monitor its implementation, and make necessary adjustments

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring broad HR leadership experience, strong regulatory knowledge, data-driven and digital mindset, and the ability to drive strategy, engagement, and organisational effectiveness.

  • 8 years’ comprehensive experience in human resources, with expertise in compensation planning and management, and at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Familiar with Taiwan labour laws and related regulations, with practical experience in handling labour relations issues.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in participating in or leading AI implementation, process optimisation, digital transformation, or organisational transformation is a plus
