What you'll do:
- Oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions for all employee groups in Taiwan, including both office-based staff and retail store teams, ensuring seamless HR operations.
- Partner closely with the General Manager and Leadership Team to assess organisational readiness and provide guidance on team structure, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Design and implement an annual HR plan that integrates global priorities with local business requirements to support strategic objectives.
- Lead programmes aimed at elevating the employee value proposition through enhanced engagement activities, wellness initiatives, and recognition schemes.
- Coach managers on effective talent management practices, including performance reviews, motivation techniques, accountability measures, and career development planning.
- Facilitate and deliver training sessions for both corporate and retail employees to foster skill development and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees by providing counsel on career progression, addressing job-related concerns, and clarifying HR policies or procedures.
- Manage contract negotiations, salary calculations, relocation processes, and ensure accurate payroll administration in partnership with relevant teams.
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders to review rewards programmes for competitiveness and advocate for changes when necessary based on market trends or business needs.
- Regularly review HR policies and documentation to guarantee compliance with Taiwanese labour laws while maintaining alignment with company standards.
