HR Business Partner
A leading organisation seeks an HR Business Partner to translate business priorities into effective people solutions and drive organisational effectiveness across Taiwan.
Position overview:
The HR Business Partner will support the Taiwan organisation across a broad range of business-facing and operational HR responsibilities. Reporting to the Taiwan HR Manager, this role will serve as a trusted partner to business leaders and employees throughout the full employee lifecycle, providing practical HR solutions aligned with business needs.
The position covers talent management, organisational effectiveness, performance management, employee relations, change initiatives, and day-to-day HR operations. It is ideal for an agile and hands-on HR professional who can balance strategic business partnership with operational execution in a lean, fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to understand organisational priorities and provide practical HR solutions
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, performance management, engagement, retention, and offboarding
- Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, capability development, and other people initiatives
- Advise managers and employees on employee relations matters, HR policies, and local labour practices
- Support organisational changes, workforce planning, and change management initiatives
- Coordinate with internal HR teams and external partners to ensure effective delivery of HR services
- Manage local HR processes, documentation, reporting, and compliance-related activities
- Lead or contribute to local and regional HR projects, ensuring timely and effective implementation
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the overall employee experience
Candidate profile:
- At least 5 years’ HR experience, ideally across multiple HR disciplines
- Solid HR business partnering or generalist experience, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders
- Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, food and beverage, retail, or another fast-paced commercial environment is preferred
- Good knowledge of Taiwan labour regulations and employee relations practices
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a lean organisation
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
