An automotive and manufacturing organisation seeks a Head of Human Resources to drive people strategy, business transformation, and talent growth in Taiwan.

This is a critical HR leadership role partnering closely with both local and regional leadership teams to drive people strategy, organisational development, and business transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

As Head of HR, you will lead HR strategy, talent development, and employee engagement to support business growth.

HR Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Lead the full spectrum of HR and Administration functions for Taiwan operations
  • Act as a strategic HR business partner to the Taiwan MD and senior management team on organisational development, talent strategy, workforce planning, and business transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with regional HR leadership to align local HR strategies with regional direction and group policies
  • Support leadership capability building and succession planning to strengthen organisational effectiveness

Talent Management & Organisation Development

  • Drive end-to-end talent management initiatives, including recruitment, performance management, learning & development, succession planning, and employee engagement
  • Work closely with management team to formulate annual business objectives through performance planning and KPI setting
  • Develop and implement short-, mid-, and long-term manpower planning strategies to support business growth and future organisational expansion
  • Support change management and organisational transformation initiatives across the business

Compensation & Benefits / HR Operations

  • Oversee compensation & benefits strategy, annual salary review, incentive planning, and HR operational excellence
  • Manage annual human capital budgeting and manpower cost control
  • Ensure HR policies, processes, and practices remain compliant with local labour regulations and aligned with group governance standards
  • Continue enhancing HR processes, systems, and operational efficiency

Employee Relations & Corporate Culture

  • Maintain positive employee relations and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Lead employee communication, engagement activities, CSR initiatives, and company-wide events
  • Handle sensitive employee matters with maturity and sound judgement

EHS & Administration

  • Ensure EHS compliance in accordance with company principles and local regulations
  • Oversee office administration and workplace management to support business operations

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring broad HR expertise, commercial acumen, and strong stakeholder management skills within dynamic, multinational environments.

  • Extensive HR leadership experience across HRBP, talent management, C&B, organisational development, and employee relations
  • Background in automotive, retail, or other fast-paced sales-driven industries preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to support frontline and business operations
  • Proven capability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders effectively
  • Experience supporting commercial and sales-led organisations in dynamic environments
  • Hands-on, agile, and adaptable approach balancing strategy with operational execution
  • Mature leadership, strong communication skills, multinational exposure, and fluent English proficiency
