As part of their continuous expansion in Asia, they are looking for a strategic and hands-on HR Manager to join their Taiwan team.

About the Role

As a HR Manager, you will play a critical role in enabling business performance through effective people strategies and HR operations across the employee lifecycle. This is a key strategic position to embed a purpose-driven, values-led culture, support organizational transformation, and drive talent outcomes that align with global HR priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders, translating organizational objectives into effective people strategies.

  • Lead workforce planning, talent mapping, and succession planning to ensure leadership readiness and sustainable growth.

  • Support organizational effectiveness, culture shaping, and team development efforts.

Execution of People Strategy

  • Implement local and global HR initiatives in line with business goals and global HR frameworks.

  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to deliver integrated talent, capability, and engagement solutions.

Culture, Engagement, and Change

  • Foster a high-performance and inclusive work environment aligned with corporate values and ethical standards.

  • Champion employee engagement efforts, and coach people managers to build cohesive, motivated teams.

  • Support communication and change management during business transitions.

Collaboration with HR CoEs

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive effective, inclusive, and timely hiring practices.

  • Work closely with Talent Development to roll out tailored learning programs, leadership development, and career growth pathways.

  • Collaborate with Total Rewards to maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs that support employee motivation and retention.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all HR practices comply with local labor regulations and internal policies.

  • Handle employee relations matters professionally and ethically.

  • Lead or support ad hoc HR projects as needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 8 years of broad HR experience, including strategic business partnering.

  • Demonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating with global/regional HR teams.

  • Industry experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or other regulated sectors is highly preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Deep HR expertise in talent, total rewards, employee relations, and org development.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching capabilities.

  • Business-savvy, culturally sensitive, and data-informed in decision making.

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.

  • Agile mindset with a strong sense of ownership and continuous improvement orientation.
