Save job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join a pioneering AI-enhanced security processor organisation based in Taipei. This role offers you the chance to play a pivotal part in redefining the control and management of digital systems, working with cutting-edge technology that is shaping the future of AI security and power management. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the Quality Management System (QMS) across the entire Product Life Cycle, ensuring that products meet the highest standards demanded by global server, switch, and router OEMs. The organisation prides itself on fostering a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, and continuous learning, where your expertise will be valued and your professional growth supported. With access to world-class resources and a diverse, inclusive environment, this is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives on making a tangible impact through teamwork and technical excellence.

What you'll do:

As a Quality Manager based in Taipei, you will take ownership of the organisation’s Quality Management System throughout every stage of the product journey. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing robust processes that guarantee consistent delivery of high-quality chips, modules, and boards for AI security applications. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to embed best practices into every phase of product development—from initial concept through mass production—while maintaining rigorous document control protocols. By guiding teams through ISO-9001 certification and monitoring key performance indicators such as yield rates and customer feedback metrics, you will help ensure that each product not only meets but exceeds industry expectations. Your ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners will be crucial in building lasting relationships founded on mutual respect and shared goals. In this role, your attention to detail combined with your passion for continuous improvement will directly contribute to the organisation’s reputation for excellence in digital security solutions.

  • Design, implement, maintain, and enforce a holistic Quality Management System that spans the entire product life cycle from inception through end-of-life.
  • Define and oversee all aspects of the product life cycle process including business planning, development stages, prototyping, qualification phases, high-volume manufacturing transitions, and product retirement.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive document control systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and accessibility of critical quality documentation.
  • Lead functional groups through ISO-9001 certification processes as well as ongoing compliance activities to uphold internationally recognised quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyse product quality metrics such as yields, defect rates per million (DPPM), failure-in-time (FIT) rates, return material authorisations (RMA), failure analysis (FA), corrective action reports (CAR), customer/supplier evaluations, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Act as the primary corporate representative for quality matters when engaging with both suppliers and customers to foster trust-based relationships built on transparency and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer support to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices in quality management systems tailored specifically for advanced semiconductor technologies including CMOS and FinFET devices.
  • Support international project teams by facilitating effective communication channels and resource coordination across multiple time zones.
  • Ensure timely execution of all quality-related tasks while adapting quickly to changing priorities in a fast-evolving technological landscape.
