【Construction】Head of Project & Operations

A leading organisation in the building infrastructure and vertical transportation sector seeks a Head of Project & Operations to lead its modernisation and new installation operations in Taiwan.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced project and operations professional to shape delivery standards, strengthen team capability and drive performance across a complex project portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the overall modernisation and new installation operations function, covering project execution, site management, testing, commissioning and handover
• Own delivery performance across safety, quality, timelines, cost and contractual requirements, taking timely action on project risks and site issues
• Develop the operations team through coaching, capability building and targeted training across project management, site operations, safety, quality and commercial knowledge
• Drive productivity and efficiency improvements by strengthening processes, systems, operational controls and execution discipline
• Oversee manpower planning, subcontractor performance, material readiness, project progress and cost status to maintain effective delivery
• Implement regional and global operations standards while ensuring local processes, procedures and governance remain compliant with statutory requirements
• Partner with regional and global teams, contributing to regular cross-border meetings and aligning local operations with broader operational standards

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator equipment, construction, installation and modernisation
• Solid experience in project management, site operations and onsite supervisory management
• Proven leadership experience managing an operations team at department-head level
• Strong commercial acumen, planning and cost-control awareness
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, prioritisation and decision-making skills
• Proactive, results-oriented and collaborative leadership approach
• Fluent Mandarin/Chinese with strong written and spoken English
