Power System Project Engineer

osition Overview We are looking for a Power System Project Engineer to join a global engineering organization specializing in electrification and power distribution solutions. This position will be responsible for engineering and project execution related to medium/high-voltage power distribution systems and Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), working closely with internal engineering teams, customers, suppliers, and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities * Execute engineering activities for GIS / Switchgear / Medium & High Voltage power distribution projects. * Review customer specifications, technical requirements, drawings, and project documentation. * Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, technical documents, equipment specifications, and project-related documentation. * Coordinate technical requirements between customers, internal engineering teams, suppliers, and project management teams. * Support equipment integration, installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. * Assist in resolving technical issues throughout different stages of project execution. * Ensure engineering deliverables comply with project requirements, technical standards, quality requirements, and project schedules. * Provide technical support during customer meetings, FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience or knowledge in power distribution systems, switchgear, GIS, electrical equipment, or power engineering projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with MV/HV electrical systems, single-line diagrams, electrical drawings, protection systems, or switchgear is a strong advantage.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Basic English communication ability for technical documents and collaboration with international teams.
• Willingness to support project sites and commissioning activities when required.
