Sr. Thermal Engineer

• Conduct system-level and component-level thermal simulations using industry-leading software to evaluate and optimise product heat dissipation architectures.
• Collaborate closely with electrical engineering (EE) and mechanical engineering (ME) teams by utilising 3D CAD software to build heatsink models and achieve optimal layout designs.
• Perform root cause analysis on thermal-related failures and bottlenecks during both development and mass production phases, proposing effective corrective actions for improvement.
• Review comprehensive thermal test data, validate simulation results against real-world measurements, compile detailed analytical reports, and drive the implementation of improvement solutions.
• Evaluate manufacturing feasibility of suppliers’ thermal components, oversee quality management processes, and manage sample tooling validation to ensure consistent product quality.
• Continuously track emerging technologies and new materials in the field of thermal management, introducing innovative solutions that enhance product competitiveness in the market.
• Engage in deep co-operation with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of thermal solutions into overall product design.
• Support the development process by troubleshooting issues related to heat dissipation, offering guidance based on simulation outcomes and empirical data.
• Champion best practices in thermal analysis by sharing insights with colleagues, fostering an environment of communal learning and mutual support.
• Contribute to technical documentation by preparing thorough reports that communicate findings clearly to stakeholders across departments.
