Thermal Architect
Seeking a Thermal Architect with 13–15+ years of experience and strong expertise in thermal management and liquid cooling. The role focuses on system-level thermal architecture, CFD, cooling optimization, and thermal validation for high-performance computing and high-power electronic systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead system-level thermal architecture for high-performance computing and high-power electronic systems.
- Develop and optimize air cooling and liquid cooling solutions, including cold plates, heat exchangers, manifolds, pumps, and cooling loops.
- Drive thermal design, simulation, validation, and optimization from concept through mass production.
- Conduct and review CFD / thermal simulations, thermal testing, and simulation-to-test correlation.
- Define thermal requirements, performance targets, and cooling architecture for CPU, GPU, ASIC, and other high-TDP components.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, System, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers to resolve complex thermal issues.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor thermal engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Thermal, Energy Engineering, or related fields.
- 13–15+ years of thermal engineering experience, with solid hands-on expertise in both thermal management and liquid cooling.
- Strong experience with server / HPC / data center / high-power electronic systems.
- Solid knowledge of heat transfer, CFD, cold plate, heat exchanger, flow/pressure-drop analysis, and thermal validation.
- Experience with NPI and mass production.
- Experience with AI / GPU / high-density computing or advanced liquid cooling is a plus.
- Strong English communication skills.
