What you'll do:

As an Electrical Engineering Manager – Internal Cable and Integrated Connector Module based in Taipei’s Design Centre you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of high-speed interconnect solutions for global clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve guiding end-to-end electronic design processes—from initial schematic creation through component selection to final PCB layout—ensuring every step aligns with best practices for manufacturability and quality. • Guide electronic design activities for Internal Cable and ICM products by overseeing schematic creation, component selection, bill of materials management, EEPROM configuration, PCB design processes, and Design for Manufacturing practices.
• Manage and nurture a global team of electronic design engineers by providing technical guidance, coaching, and supporting their career development within an inclusive environment.
• Establish rigorous design standards and review processes while enforcing DFMEA/DFM practices to ensure products meet high-quality benchmarks and are manufacturable at scale.
• Drive strategic component selection decisions and BOM strategies by collaborating with suppliers to optimise performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and supply continuity.
• Lead initiatives focused on cost engineering including should-cost analysis and value engineering efforts to achieve competitive product targets without compromising quality.
• Oversee schematic capture procedures, PCB layout architecture decisions, stack-up planning, and comprehensive design verification to ensure all electrical, thermal, and reliability requirements are satisfied.
• Collaborate closely with signal integrity specialists as well as validation, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality assurance, and product management teams throughout the entire product lifecycle.
