Staff Electronic Engineer - IPcam

Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior / Principal Hardware Engineer to join a growing Smart Vision / Camera product development team. This position will be responsible for the complete hardware development lifecycle of IP Camera and intelligent imaging products, from architecture design and component selection to validation, debugging, NPI, and mass production. Key Responsibilities * Responsible for hardware architecture and circuit design for IP Camera / Camera System / Smart Vision products. * Perform schematic design, component selection, PCB placement/layout review, and BOM management. * Design and integrate SoC-based systems and peripheral circuits, including DDR, Flash, Ethernet, USB, Sensor and Power circuits. * Conduct board bring-up, hardware validation, signal measurement, and system-level debugging. * Analyze and resolve SI / PI / EMI / EMC and hardware reliability issues. * Work closely with FW, ME, Optical, Image Quality, PM and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle. * Support EVT / DVT / PVT, NPI and mass production, including failure analysis and design optimization. * Review customer requirements and provide technical solutions for new product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of hardware development experience in Camera, IP Camera, Surveillance, Smart Home, IoT, Networking, or related embedded products.
• Strong experience in ARM / SoC-based hardware platform development.
• Familiar with high-speed interfaces and system peripherals such as DDR, Ethernet, USB, MIPI, SPI, I2C, UART, etc.
• Hands-on experience with schematic design, PCB review, board bring-up, and hardware debugging.
• Familiar with oscilloscope and other electronic measurement/debugging equipment.
• Experience taking products from design stage through NPI and mass production.

Nice to Have

• Direct IP Camera / Security Camera product development experience.
• Experience with Camera Sensor / ISP / MIPI CSI interfaces.
• Knowledge of PoE / Ethernet-related hardware design.
• Experience in ODM / OEM product development and customer-facing projects.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for system-level hardware issues.
