A leading electronics manufacturer seeks a Senior/Staff MCU Firmware Engineer (BMC Control Module) in Taiwan to develop embedded firmware for power management and control systems, supporting product development and engineering growth.

Apply your expertise in ARM Cortex-M platforms, hardware-software integration, and firmware validation to enhance system reliability and tackle complex engineering challenges.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for PMI (Power Management Interface) and communication MCU platforms
• Develop firmware for ARM Cortex-M-based microcontrollers, including bootloaders, peripheral drivers, middleware, and application software
• Perform board bring-up, hardware validation, and firmware debugging on custom embedded systems
• Develop telemetry, monitoring, control, and fault management functions for power modules
• Design and validate firmware update mechanisms, including bootloader-based and UDS-based firmware update solutions
• Debug hardware-software integration issues using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, protocol analysers, and CAN analysers
• Collaborate with hardware, validation, manufacturing, and customer engineering teams to investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop test tools and automation scripts to improve firmware validation efficiency
• Participate in technical reviews and contribute to system architecture discussions

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
• At least 8 years’ relevant experience in consumer PCs, industrial PCs, laptops, RISC-based systems, or networking-related products
• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to navigate ambiguity effectively
• Preferred: Experience with OCP ORV3 rack architectures
