An organisation seeks a Vice President of Engineering to drive AI-led transformation, scale 100+ engineers, and accelerate next-generation product and platform innovation at enterprise scale in Taiwan.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and own end-to-end engineering strategy aligned with business growth, driving AI-led transformation and scalable platform evolution across the organisation
• Lead and scale a 100+ engineering organisation across multiple teams, building structure, leadership depth, and a strong, sustainable talent pipeline
• Own modernisation of core systems and architecture within a high-scale digital platform environment to enable next-generation product and platform capabilities
• Drive enterprise-wide adoption of AI across engineering, product, and operations to improve automation, efficiency, and speed of innovation
• Ensure reliable delivery of high-traffic, user-facing platforms while partnering with executive leadership and fostering a high-performance, ownership-driven engineering culture

Candidate profile:

• 15+ years’ engineering leadership experience, including proven success leading large-scale organisations (100+ engineers preferred)
• Demonstrated experience managing and scaling large engineering teams in complex, multi-team environments with strong delivery accountability
• Strong background in high-scale internet or platform-based businesses with exposure to large user bases, high traffic, or high transaction volumes
• Experience with large-scale systems, distributed architecture, and platform engineering, including delivery of major technology transformation initiatives
• Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills, with AI transformation or adoption experience as a strong advantage
