Controlling Assistant Manager/Manager

A leading FMCG organisation seeks a Controlling Assistant Manager/Manager in Taiwan to transform financial data into actionable insights, driving performance, strategic planning, and cross-functional business decisions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with commercial, sales, marketing, and operations teams to provide financial insights and support informed business decisions
  • Own monthly P&L, variance, and KPI analysis, highlighting key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities for management
  • Prepare management reports and performance commentary, monitoring actuals against budgets and forecasts to identify gaps and improvement areas
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, contributing financial analysis aligned with business priorities
  • Develop financial models and business cases to assess sales, margins, pricing, promotions, operating expenses, investments, and commercial initiatives
  • Lead assigned finance projects and collaborate with regional/global finance teams to improve reporting processes, analysis quality, and business performance

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline
  • 3–8 years’ experience in FP&A, Controlling, Commercial Finance, Business Finance, or Financial Analysis
  • Experience in Retail, FMCG, Consumer, or multinational environments preferred
  • Solid P&L, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance skills
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; ERP/BI experience is a plus
  • Fluent English with strong analytical, communication, business partnering, and stakeholder management skills
