Finance Director

An international food and beverage organisation seeks a Finance Director to drive finance transformation, enhance business performance, and build a future-ready finance function in Taiwan.

Key responsibilities:

As Finance Director, you will lead finance strategy and operations, driving business performance, governance, and continuous improvement.

• Lead the full finance and accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely close processes, and compliance with local and international regulations
• Own statutory reporting, tax compliance, and consolidated financial statements, providing reliable insights to internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with executive leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning that supports business growth and strategic decision-making
• Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior management, delivering financial analysis and performance insights to optimise business outcomes
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, enhancing accounting processes, governance frameworks, systems, and operational efficiency across the organisation
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, cost management, and financing activities, ensuring financial stability while identifying opportunities for cost optimisation
• Manage relationships with auditors, financial institutions, investors, and legal advisors, safeguarding compliance and supporting key business objectives

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring proven finance leadership, strong technical and commercial acumen, and the ability to drive transformation, influence stakeholders, and lead high-performing teams.

• Extensive finance and accounting experience within operating companies, managing complex financial operations and reporting
• CPA or equivalent qualification with strong expertise in IFRS, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit coordination
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Strong FP&A capability, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial partnering with senior stakeholders
• Hands-on operational experience across accounting, financial planning cycles, and cross-functional project delivery
• Excellent communication skills with business-level English and native Chinese proficiency for regional and global collaboration
• Experience in finance transformation, ERP/system implementation (e.g., Dynamics 365), and exposure to audit, tax, or legal coordination is highly desirable
