Head of Finance

A multinational company seeks a Head of Finance to drive financial strategy, support leadership decisions, and enable business growth and operational excellence in Taiwan.

Key responsibilities:

As Head of Finance, you will drive financial performance, strengthen reporting and controls, and partner with stakeholders to support strategic decisions and growth.

• Partner with Country GM and Taiwan leadership to shape and execute commercial strategy, including pricing, margin, and investment decisions
• Deliver financial analysis and insights for key initiatives such as product launches, promotions, marketing spend, and portfolio decisions
• Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, highlighting performance trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes aligned with strategic and financial targets
• Oversee financial performance tracking, including revenue, profitability, costs, cash flow, and working capital optimisation (incl. DSO)
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting and compliance with US GAAP, local regulations, tax, audit, and internal controls requirements
• Lead finance transformation and team development, driving BI adoption, process improvements, and strong business partnering across functions

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring multinational finance experience, strong judgement, leadership, and the ability to communicate and manage complexity effectively.

• 8–12 years’ progressive finance experience in multinational environments, ideally within US-listed or matrix organisations
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial modelling, analysis, and interpreting data for strategic decision-making
• Proven business partnering experience, collaborating with commercial and operations teams to support key business decisions
• Solid technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
• Strong leadership experience in building, managing, and developing high-performing finance teams in fast-paced environments
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Strong communicator with attention to detail, continuous improvement mindset, and ability to drive process, systems, and BI enhancements
