Accounting Operation Manager

An experienced Accounting Operations Manager is sought to join a reputable organisation in Taipei, Taiwan. This role focuses on ensuring accurate accounting operations, robust tax compliance, and adherence to IFRS standards while driving continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities:

As an Accounting Operations Manager based in Taipei, you will be entrusted with overseeing the entire spectrum of accounting activities while ensuring strict adherence to both local tax requirements and international financial reporting standards.

• Accounting & Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate financial reporting and full compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations
• Month-End & Periodic Closing: Execute timely and accurate closing activities, including reconciliations, adjustments, and financial reporting
• Process Excellence & System Enhancement: Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and support system upgrades to improve efficiency and accuracy

Candidate profile:

A seasoned accounting professional with strong technical expertise, supervisory experience, and a proven ability to manage accounting operations, tax compliance, and process improvement in complex environments.

• Cost Accounting Expertise: Strong background in cost accounting principles and applications
• Experience & Leadership: 15+ years in accounting/finance with at least 5 years in a supervisory role; Big 4 CPA firm experience preferred
• Technical & Regulatory Knowledge: Well-versed in IFRS and Taiwan tax regulations
