Finance Accounting Supervisor / Assistant Manager

A leading automotive organisation seeks a Finance Accounting Supervisor / Assistant Manager in Taiwan to strengthen financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and efficient business processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Own month-end and year-end closing, including sales-COGS reconciliation, accruals, tax estimates, inter-company reconciliations, and account analysis
• Manage tax compliance, VAT and withholding tax reviews, tax authority queries, and Country-by-Country/Master File reporting
• Deliver accurate monthly results, quarterly and annual HQ disclosures, and review statutory, tax, and transfer pricing reports
• Lead audit coordination, accounting and tax risk assessments, internal audit reviews, and compliance activities to strengthen financial controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cross-functional finance projects, and ad-hoc initiatives while driving knowledge sharing and timely execution

Candidate profile:

• 6+ years in accounting, including 3+ years in an accounting firm, with full-cycle accounting and project management exposure
• SAP proficiency with strong knowledge of GL accounting, tax accounting, and financial data management
• Experience with local GAAP, IFRS, local tax regulations, VAT, withholding tax, CbCR, transfer pricing, and audit requirements
• Strong communication, bilingual proficiency, multitasking, stakeholder coordination, internal controls, and compliance management
• Proven ability to lead finance projects, manage competing priorities, and work effectively with cross-functional teams
