What you'll do:

* Oversee the complete application development lifecycle from initial requirements gathering through to final rollout, ensuring all project milestones are achieved on schedule.
* Actively manage project conflicts, dependencies, scope changes, schedule adjustments, and risks by implementing effective mitigation plans and keeping stakeholders informed at every stage.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, external vendors, partners, and customers to deliver project objectives while managing schedules, scopes, and resources efficiently.
* Define clear project goals, objectives, deliverables, timelines, costs, and payment milestones by preparing comprehensive project management plans tailored to each initiative.
* Assemble and direct high-performing project teams throughout the entire execution lifecycle, fostering a culture of cooperation and shared success.
* Execute both Hybrid and Agile projects or programmes while continuously monitoring overall project health and progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Support users through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), product acceptance processes, and seamless handover to customer support teams for ongoing satisfaction.
* Facilitate effective communication between multiple internal interfaces and stakeholders to align efforts towards achieving project objectives.
* Create and maintain all required project artifacts and documentation with meticulous attention to detail for future reference and compliance purposes.

What you bring:

* A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology coupled with at least five years’ experience managing complex projects within the financial services sector or similar environments.
* Demonstrated expertise in software development lifecycles including both Agile and Waterfall methodologies along with hands-on experience using tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence.
* Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 or Certified Scrum Master which showcase your commitment to best practice standards in project management.
* Practical knowledge of Java-based solutions including integration with third-party libraries which enables you to oversee technical aspects confidently.
