Application Engineer (Server)

A global semiconductor innovator is looking for a Server Application Engineer to join their Taipei-based team. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of analog/digital IC development and real-world power system applications.

You'll collaborate closely with design, field, and marketing teams to support high-performance power solutions used in computing systems. From building reference circuits to authoring application notes and supporting key customers, your expertise will play a vital role in enabling energy-efficient technologies globally.

🌟 What You’ll Do

• Develop and validate application reference designs for server power solutions

• Provide expert-level application support for both internal teams and external customers

• Debug and analyze IC behavior at both lab and system level

• Generate technical documentation including datasheets and application notes

• Act as technical bridge between design teams, field engineers, and end users

• Support power management solutions including DC/DC converters and digital-analog interfaces

• Collaborate in cross-functional meetings to align product features with system-level needs

• Participate in internal tool and process improvement related to documentation and support

🎯 What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience in switch mode power supply (SMPS) design (DC/DC, AC/DC, Inverter)

• Solid understanding of analog/digital circuit behavior and system-level integration

• Strong hands-on experience with computing system power architecture or signal/power integrity

• Excellent written and spoken English communication

• Familiar with common lab equipment, test/debug methodologies, and hardware troubleshooting

• Experience in customer-facing support or application engineering is preferred

• MSEE or equivalent degree required
