About the Role Our client is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Memory Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join their team in Taipei. In this role, you’ll take the lead in providing technical support that helps expand global customer business. You'll collaborate closely with customers, controller vendors, and internal teams on DRAM failure analysis and system-level validation, while also becoming a key technical liaison in cross-functional discussions. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in DRAM and system operations who is passionate about solving problems and delivering exceptional support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt, high-quality technical support to meet customer requirements related to DRAM.

  • Perform failure analysis and coordinate joint validation efforts with customers and controller vendors.

  • Conduct regular technical meetings with internal AE teams, customers, and cross-functional partners.

  • Provide clear and professional communication between customers, HQ, and internal teams.

  • Utilize oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for debugging and signal analysis.

  • Opportunity to work on DDR5 modules in notebook, desktop, and server platforms.


What You Bring

  • Solid understanding of DRAM functionality and system operations (e.g., command sequences, AC parameters).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in a customer-facing context.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

  • Familiarity with computer architecture and DRAM module design.

  • Experience in DDR5 system design and validation is a strong plus.
