As a Customer Solution Engineer based in Taipei City, you will immerse yourself in the world of advanced data centre cooling technologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with diverse stakeholders—ranging from server manufacturers to end-users—to design bespoke liquid cooling systems that meet rigorous performance standards. You will guide clients through every stage of solution adoption: from initial consultation and technical presentations through deployment oversight and post-installation support.   • Serve as the primary technical expert throughout all stages of customer engagement, ensuring seamless communication and understanding between stakeholders.
  • Support pre-sales activities by presenting detailed technical solutions to prospective clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Analyse the competitive landscape to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative products, helping to position your solutions effectively in the market.
  • Manage technical support for proof-of-concept deployments and oversee production implementation at server vendors and local data centres.
  • Collaborate closely with prospects, customers, server manufacturers (OxMs), distributors, system integrators, and infrastructure providers to define precise technical requirements for solution integration.
  • Act as a key liaison between customers and internal engineering teams to ensure that all technical specifications are accurately communicated and understood.
  • Provide comprehensive technical guidance and support to prospects, customers, and colleagues to bridge any knowledge gaps during solution deployment.
  • Oversee product delivery timelines to guarantee prompt fulfilment of customer orders and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Ensure successful installation by providing hands-on expertise during coordination and implementation phases at customer sites.
  • Deliver ongoing post-deployment technical support to ensure long-term customer success and optimal performance of installed solutions.

What you bring:

To excel as a Customer Solution Engineer in this forward-thinking environment, you will bring substantial experience from roles involving server manufacturer design or data centre engineering—ideally spanning at least five years. Your background should include practical exposure to integrating complex hardware systems within demanding operational settings. A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mechanical or thermal engineering underpins your technical foundation. Beyond hard skills, your interpersonal abilities will shine as you nurture collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external partners.   • Comprehensive understanding of physical data centre infrastructure—including mechanical, electrical, IT systems—and their interplay within power distribution, precision cooling environments, rack layouts, and management software ecosystems.
  • Expertise in data centre cooling systems with an emphasis on thermal management strategies that enhance energy efficiency across large-scale deployments.
  • Proven ability to analyse competitive landscapes and develop effective strategies for positioning technical solutions against rival offerings.
  • Demonstrated skill in problem definition, data collection, fact establishment, and drawing valid conclusions from complex technical information sets.
  • Exceptional communication skills enabling you to present intricate engineering concepts clearly to both technical audiences and non-specialist stakeholders alike.
  • Experience collaborating with partners such as system integrators or infrastructure providers to deploy sophisticated solutions within live customer environments.
  • Proficiency with engineering design tools such as ProE, SolidWorks, AutoCAD; additional familiarity with SketchUp or Visio is advantageous but not required.
  • Self-motivated approach combined with strong teamwork abilities that foster positive relationships across multicultural teams.
  • Native-level Chinese language proficiency alongside effective verbal and written English communication skills; proficiency in Taiwanese is considered a plus.
