Brand Manager (Sales & Marketing Manager), Cosmetic

What you'll do:
- Define and execute the overall vision and multi-year growth strategy for the cosmetics brand in alignment with broader business objectives.
- Take full responsibility for managing the brand’s profit and loss statement, including revenue targets, gross margin optimisation, advertising spend allocation, and operating profit delivery.
- Drive pricing strategies, investment decisions, and portfolio management to maximise return on investment while maintaining brand integrity.
- Lead the creation and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across above-the-line, below-the-line, and digital channels to build strong brand equity and stimulate consumer demand.
- Partner with both internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure world-class communication that resonates with target audiences.
- Identify emerging consumer trends and whitespace opportunities within the market to inform innovation pipelines and new product development initiatives.
- Oversee end-to-end product innovation processes from concept ideation through testing phases to successful go-to-market execution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Research & Development, and Commercial departments to ensure seamless execution of brand plans.
- Leverage data analytics and consumer research insights to refine strategies, optimise performance metrics, and guide informed decision-making at every stage.
- If applicable, lead and mentor a team of Associate or Assistant Brand Managers by providing coaching that fosters future leadership capability.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is required; an MBA qualification would be highly regarded for this position.
- A minimum of six years’ experience in brand management within Cosmetic & retail or consumer technology sectors is essential for success in this role.
- Demonstrated track record of managing full P&L responsibilities for a major brand while consistently delivering measurable growth outcomes over time.
- Exceptional strategic thinking abilities combined with an entrepreneurial spirit that embraces ownership of results at every level.
- Proven experience in driving innovation projects from initial concept through commercialisation stages within competitive markets.
- Outstanding cross-functional leadership skills that facilitate effective collaboration between diverse teams such as Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and R&D.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that enable clear articulation of ideas both internally among colleagues and externally with partners or agencies.
- Highly analytical approach supported by proficiency in leveraging data-driven insights for sound decision-making processes across all areas of responsibility.
- Creative flair that brings fresh perspectives to marketing campaigns while remaining grounded in practical business realities.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members would be advantageous but not mandatory.
