This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building meaningful connections with partners and merchants, enjoys the challenge of developing new business opportunities, and is passionate about driving growth in the digital payments sector.
What you'll do:
As Assistant Manager, Channel, Partners and Marketing based in Taipei, you will be instrumental in driving business expansion through strategic partner management and innovative marketing initiatives. Your ability to negotiate effectively will be crucial as you work towards closing deals that benefit both the company and its clients. Additionally, you will forecast sales potential across various markets, identify key marketing activities needed for success, participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, and keep abreast of industry developments. Success in this role means consistently achieving business targets through thoughtful relationship-building, proactive problem-solving, and seamless cross-functional collaboration.
- Sign and manage both new and existing referral partners while maintaining an active pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.
- Provide regular updates and tailored training sessions to third party partners so they can meet agreed referral targets.
- Deliver assigned business objectives by identifying high-potential customers and markets, as well as encouraging referral partners to generate quality leads.
- Conduct effective negotiations with merchants and referral partners, ensuring successful deal closures for all parties involved.
- Build, nurture, and develop long-term merchant relationships while ensuring compliance with all account opening requirements and processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams or external partners to support the development of new products such as e-wallets or QR code payment solutions.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to guarantee operational efficiency, including smooth POS terminal installations, card acceptance training, and fraud prevention measures.
- Forecast potential sales and revenue from both new and existing markets while identifying necessary marketing activities to achieve these goals.
- Participate actively in sales meetings and training sessions internally and externally to stay updated on best practices.
- Monitor competitor activity, industry standards, market trends, technology advancements, systems changes, and other relevant information.

You bring a thoughtful approach to planning presentations for varied audiences alongside fluency in English and Chinese for seamless communication. Your negotiation style is considerate yet effective—ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes without compromising on integrity. Adaptability is second nature; you remain composed amid shifting priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. A history of meeting or exceeding targets through shared effort demonstrates your commitment to collective success. Experience related to credit card businesses or digital payment innovations would further enhance your suitability for this role.
