Consumer Insight (Assistant) Manager - FMCG

Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Consumer Insight Assistant Manager to join their team in Taipei. This role is pivotal in delivering best-in-class category leadership and customer collaboration for key strategic customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for using market, shopper, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and develop relevant category solutions. This role offers the opportunity to engage with multiple internal teams, fostering a supportive network that drives cross-functional collaboration.

Key Requirements:

  • Lead the customer category agenda by delivering all relevant analyses and customer-ready materials
  • Develop customer category plans, including conducting category opportunity assessments
  • Provide category 1st insights and ensure internal and external alignment to customer growth opportunities
  • Create compelling insight-led category solutions which influence shopper behaviour
  • Formulate appropriate planograms and assortment/distributions category recommendations
  • Develop an integrated picture of success for assigned channel(s)/customers grounded in global in-store leadership strategies

Key Qualifications:

  • Graduate calibre with experience in a MNC FMCG/consumer products with demand background
  • Ability to assess and understand customer specific/individual growth opportunities
  • Experience of engaging, influencing customers with proven ability to build strong relationships
  • Sales experience from field management and/or category/customer management would be a plus
  • Basic Category Leadership knowledge
  • Proven ability on the analytical acumen with ability to drive and translate insights into relevant strategies
