As Head of Information Technology, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the future of technology within the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions that support evolving business requirements. You will be entrusted with safeguarding sensitive information through robust cybersecurity measures while also ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. By managing a diverse portfolio of business applications, you will enable operational efficiency across departments. Your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders—locally and globally—will be crucial in translating complex business needs into effective technology strategies. Additionally, your commitment to nurturing talent within your team will help create an environment where everyone can thrive. Through careful budget oversight and vendor management, you will ensure resources are optimally allocated for maximum impact.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with both global standards and local business goals, ensuring technology drives value across all operations.
  • Provide visionary guidance to the IT team by fostering an environment of collaboration, continuous learning, and shared success.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure—including networks, servers, data centres (on-premises and cloud), and end-user computing—to guarantee high availability and scalability.
  • Establish and enforce rigorous cybersecurity policies and procedures that protect company data while ensuring compliance with local privacy regulations such as PDPA.
  • Manage incident response protocols, vulnerability assessments, and security awareness programmes to maintain a secure digital environment.
  • Supervise the portfolio of business applications (such as BI tools, POS systems, WMS) by collaborating with business units to identify opportunities for process optimisation through technology.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement efforts by proactively understanding business needs, translating them into actionable IT initiatives, and ensuring seamless communication between local teams and regional/global counterparts.
  • Champion change management initiatives related to new system deployments by facilitating smooth transitions and securing buy-in from all relevant parties.
  • Mentor and develop IT staff by managing resource allocation, conducting performance reviews, and supporting ongoing talent development within the department.
  • Oversee budget planning for the IT function while managing vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service level agreements to ensure cost-effective delivery of products and services.
