What you'll do:

  • Provide comprehensive technical support across a wide range of products, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Take responsibility for incident calls by acknowledging receipt, conducting thorough technical analysis, resolving problems, and setting clear expectations with stakeholders.
  • Log, investigate, and track technical issues reported by clients, maintaining accurate records throughout the process.
  • Monitor application events closely using web-based monitoring systems to proactively identify potential concerns.
  • Follow established escalation procedures when collaborating with relevant departments according to incident severity.
  • Adhere strictly to incident management KPIs to maintain high standards of service delivery.

  • Deploy new product features and fixes into live environments with careful consideration of their impact on interconnected systems.

  • Demonstrate diligence and responsibility when operating in live production environments to ensure stability and reliability.

What you bring:

  • A relevant degree or post-secondary education such as BSc in Information Technology or Information Systems is highly desirable for this position.
  • A strong grasp of network infrastructure concepts along with hands-on experience using IT system monitoring tools is essential for success in this role.
  • Familiarity with service management principles enables you to navigate complex support scenarios effectively while maintaining high standards of care.
  • Holding certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (or equivalent) demonstrates your expertise in cloud technologies.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (or equivalent) is considered advantageous for candidates seeking further growth opportunities within cloud environments.
  • Proven experience working with SQL Server 2014 through 2019—including TSQL scripting—enables you to manage data-related tasks confidently.
  • A solid understanding or practical knowledge of API concepts including support, deployment, and integration processes is important for this role.
  • Experience supporting mobile applications through deployment cycles adds value by broadening your technical skill set.
  • Knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS), particularly configuration, optimisation, and troubleshooting techniques enhances your ability to maintain robust web services.
  • Possessing ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification would be beneficial as it underpins best practices in IT service management.
