Finance Associate Director/CFO

This position is for a well-known company in Taipei, this role will be responsible for leading the overall accounting operation and assisting the company's steady development. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of professionals, participate in cross-border transactions and overseas tax planning, and lead the analysis of key decisions.

Key Responsibilties:

  • Plan and review the company's overall accounting operations to ensure that all operations comply with financial and tax regulations.
  • Supervise the accounting process and review various financial statements, and conduct in-depth analysis and review of abnormal items to maintain data accuracy.
  • Assist and oversee the accounting processing of affiliated companies and review their financial statements to ensure the overall financial health of the Group.
  • Regularly review and report on the profit and loss results and budget implementation of each operating unit, and put forward suggestions for improvement to promote the improvement of operational performance.
  • Provide management accounting information required for management decision-making, and assist senior management in formulating strategic direction.
  • Review invoices, documents and accounting procedures related to the payment of various expenses to ensure that expenditures are compliant and reasonable.
  • Review business tax, business tax and other tax operations to ensure that the declaration is correct in accordance with the law.
  • Support marketing and business units in financial analysis of operational activities, provide regular or project management reports and process optimization suggestions.

Key Requirements:

  • More than 10 years of relevant experience in large manufacturing accounting departments or accounting firms, and is familiar with the characteristics and operation mode of the industry.
  • With more than 5 years of experience as a head of the accounting department, effectively manage a team of 10 to 15 people and establish a good cooperative atmosphere.
  • Good English proficiency to handle cross-border transactions and overseas tax-related matters smoothly.
  • Familiar with the review process of transfer pricing reasonableness, effectively control the company's capital expenditure and put forward constructive suggestions.
  • Proficiency in various financial report preparation, analysis and abnormal review skills helps improve the quality of organizational decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate across departments to solve complex problems and drive process optimization.
  • With a high sense of responsibility and careful attitude, can strictly control the details of each account and maintain the accuracy of information.
  • Have good time management skills to multitask and allocate resources efficiently.
