What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend applications for both customer-facing websites and internal dashboards using modern frameworks such as React.js and Next.js.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into intuitive user interfaces that enhance overall user experience.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and third-party services into frontend applications to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers by sharing best practices in code quality, performance optimisation, accessibility, and UI/UX standards.
• Contribute actively to architectural decisions that promote scalability, maintainability, and efficiency across all web applications.
• Drive improvements in development workflows by automating processes or optimising monorepo setups for better team productivity.
• Champion the adoption of modern frontend tooling such as Tailwind CSS, Turborepo, or design token systems to streamline development efforts.
• Support large-scale migrations or system upgrades by guiding teams through technical challenges with empathy and clear communication.
• Monitor application performance metrics and proactively address bottlenecks or issues to ensure optimal user experiences.
• Document technical solutions clearly for future reference and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related field demonstrating strong foundational knowledge in software engineering principles.
• At least five years of hands-on experience building production-ready frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript within collaborative environments.
• Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs as well as GraphQL endpoints into complex web applications for seamless data management.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams comprising product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Experience leading code reviews while promoting best practices around code quality assurance, performance tuning, accessibility compliance, and UI/UX consistency.
• Track record of mentoring junior developers or peers by providing constructive feedback and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling such as Tailwind CSS for styling efficiency or Turborepo for managing monorepos at scale.
• Experience automating development workflows or optimising build pipelines to improve team productivity is highly desirable.
• Hands-on involvement in large-scale migrations or system architecture improvements showcasing leadership skills during periods of change.
• Excellent communication skills enabling clear documentation of technical solutions as well as effective knowledge sharing across teams.
