Senior Firmware Engineer (PSU)

Our client is looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer (PSU) in Taipei.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop firmware & firmware architecture
• HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) code development and debugging
• Code maintenance with design documentation and awareness of importance of source code control
• Able to introduce modularity and re-use of designs to improve time to market and the overall customer experience
• Design, develop and maintain applications for automating processes, debugging, and testing
• Monitor and track process efficiency and problems in engineering processes
• Able to present to customers for technical details
• Co-work with a global team to deliver high quality source code in a fast paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment
• Cooperate with sites to leverage their architectures, modules and code
• Research new technologies, emerging trends and potential customer requirements
• Able to create a software tool for PSU firmware debugging using C# or LabView or Python
• Able to use the source code maintenance tools such as SVN, Github

Key Requirements:

• BS degree in Engineering related field with over 2 years of embedded system firmware design working experience
• Familiar with varies series of MCU/DSP
• Knowledge of Power Electronic knowledge, PMBus, and Control theory
• Good practice of coding style and best coding practice
• Experience in project management
• Able to write and speak English and be a team player
• Experienced in Agile Scrum development and RTOS is a plus
