Key Responsibilities:
- Experience with Rack level system architecture and responsible for defining server, storage product spec and system architecture design
- Design and verify server and storage system in consideration of HW, SW, FW, ME, SI, thermal and acoustic issues and work closely with BMC and FW to figure out issues and system bring up
- Define testing coverage to ensure server and storage system quality
- Work with OEM/CM on manufacturing definition and tests and issues resolved
- Track and follow the latest server and storage applications, new technologies for future designs
- Familiar with Intel, AMD X86 platform and ARM platform
Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Over 6-8 years’ experience in a related role with experience in designs and leading a team
- Experience with analog and digital circuit design
- Experience in power sequence measurement and power placement layout checking
- Experience in major server component architecture and design (motherboards, hard drives, RAM, CPUs, heat sinks, fans, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of VMware and KVM etc. Testing environment is a plus
